On the other hand, Gin would have probably killed Ichigo in Fake Karakura Town to protect his secret. Nevertheless, there's no question that he becomes a hero in his dying moments. Aizen fatally wounds Gin after the latter fails to kill him with Kamishini no Yari, crushing Rangiku's already fragile heart.
Usually, after being stabbed once, people start to doubt in stabbing one, but she remained loyal to Lord Aizen. Loyal enough to fight for him with six captains, their vice-captains, and Visoreds. IMO, that's enough to assume she "joined Aizen's cause". That's why I consider Hinamori as the worst written character of all Bleach. Squad 5's Lieutenant, Momo Hinamori, is Toshiro Hitsugaya's childhood friend and an avid reader. She absolutely idolized Captain Sosuke Aizen and defended him from all criticism, only for Aizen to betray her and nearly kill her in the Soul Society arc. Momo had been wrong to trust Aizen, but never did she deserve such an attack. Aizen and Momo are toxic. All adult situations are between characters who are 18+. Waiting pays off. "Rangiku jangles her keys in her pocket, looking up at the porchlight, when the back of her neck prickles. She doesn’t know why she does this, but she turns around even though something tells her that it is a bad idea. With Hinamori, Aizen did it to troll Hitsugaya, and also in his twisted logic, he probably thinks if she can't live without him, he might as well kill her as an act of mercy. He doesn't hold a grudge against anyone in particular but Urahara, and even that's more ideological than personal. But it still doesn't explain how he swapped out Hinamori for himself; the only damage she took was Hitsugaya's stab. Which is a problem in itself; if Hinamori didn't die of that stab, would Aizen even if it hit him Purona 4 yr. ago. In a manga where Urahara has an inflatable Gigai to use as a distraction; Starrk can come from an unknown The Ice-Cream Man Cometh. Mar 1, 2010. #1. Hinamori seemed to vanish after asking Hitsugaya, "Shirou-chan why?" She wasn't shown after that, even as Hitsugaya screamed and charged Aizen. It's not like he should have had time to put her down somewhere. So, did he drop her, or did she fall through a hole in the plot or did she actually die
In fact, young Ichigo would brighten at the very sight of her, and it devastated him when Grand Fisher killed her on a rain-soaked riverbank. Later, it is revealed that she was once a half-blood Quincy, but she lost her powers and thus was an easy target for the villainous Grand Fisher.

Hitsugaya, Enraged! Blade of Hatred! is the two hundred ninety-third episode of the Bleach anime. The Shinigami and Visored, attacking Sōsuke Aizen, are unable to defeat the treacherous captain. Lieutenants Izuru Kira and Tetsuzaemon Iba, commenting on the strength of the Reiatsu emanating from the captains and Visored, wonder if Lieutenants Momo Hinamori and Rangiku Matsumoto will be alright
Bleach: 10 Ways Aizen's Betrayal Impacted The Series. Thanks to Aizen, Soul Society became a much more united place, especially after he was defeated. Sosuke Aizen's betrayal of Soul Society in Bleach had a significant impact on those in Soul Society and Hueco Mundo. As a master manipulator, he was able to get away with almost anything, as most Aizen sighed and looked down, feeling guilt for betraying the girl he loved. Aizen turned to Renji and looked at the way Hinamori went. ''Renji, do you plan on really killing her, Please don't.''. Aizen said words coming right from the heart, he didn't want Hinamori to die. Renji shook his head and looked at Aizen.
Summary: Ichigo can't quite believe Soul Society's propaganda about Aizen, and when he sees Aizen at a cafe in Karakura, it's his chance to get some answers. Their first meeting, technically, is on Soukyoku hill. A clash of blades, well, kind of, and a wound that would have been fatal if anyone but Orihime had been tasked with healing him. Aizen watched the display with his chest inflating in rage…Toshiro was touching what belonged to him. Finally Aizen just lost it. "MS. HINAMORI!" He roared cringing slightly as stood and made his way to the front of the class, the entire class nearly jumped out the fucking window when they heard Aizen holler. Hinamori yanks Hitsugaya's present away from Rangiku Matsumoto. Hinamori, Rangiku, Hitsugaya, and Aizen watch the fireworks. Hinamori tells Renji that she is the only one here. Aizen instructs Hinamori to move everyone to safety. Hinamori, Izuru, Renji, and Hisagi learn of the Eleventh Division being nearly wiped out.
Gin apparently was very upset about whatever he did to Rangiku, and Kubo said it'd be explained it this arc. It's part of the reason she probably can't obtain Bankai and also would suggest her Shikai isn't being used to it's full potential. I hope Aizen fixes it so she can be a bit stronger. 32. 12.
Bleach has a roster of amazing characters, which makes sense considering it was one of the ‘ Big 3 ’ of Shonen back in the day. Amongst those characters, friend, and foe alike, none stood out as more enigmatic than the ‘dead’ Sōsuke Aizen, the main threat to the revered Soul Society. Even though he was imprisoned, he was supposedly so When Aizen seemingly killed Harribel, Toshiro was, along with Komamura, one of the first to clash with him. At one point, after a philosophical debate, Toshiro Hitsugaya seemingly stabbed Aizen from the back, but it turned out to be Momo Hinamori; namely, Toshiro was under the influence of Aizen’s Kyoka Suigetsu, so he only saw an illusion. .
